The Street Department's primary function
is the maintenance of the City of Cuero streets. Daily inspections
are made for pavement management and visible obstructions. Special
projects are on a scheduled basis.
Some of the key functions are as follows:
- Asphalt Patching
- Minor Pavement Rebuilding
- Utility Cut Restoration
- Installation & Maintenance of Street Signs
- Vector Control
- Cuero Municipal Aiport Maintenance & Upkeep
- Painting of Crosswalks & Pavement Markings
- Street Cleaning with Sweeper
- Alley/Gravel Road Maintenance
- Bridge Maintenance
- Maintain Storm Water Lines Including Storm Water Intakes
- Road Ditch Maintenance
- Storm Sewer Cleaning & Repair
- Responsible for All Special Event Barricades & Signage
- Assist Other Departments to Accomplish Their Projects
