Cuero Public Parks
Rules and Regulations, and Special Usage Fees

Persons using Cuero Muncipal Park, Daule Park or Alexander Park are asked to abide by the following rules and regulations at all times while on park grounds. Fee information for special use of park facilities is also provided below.

PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS


General Usage
No person may use an area or facility for any purpose other than the designated purpose.

Park Curfew
The park curfew for Cuero Muncipal Park is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Only authorized persons and overnight campers will be allowed in the park during curfew hours.

Pets
Pets must be leashed at all times while on the park grounds.

Wildlife
All wildlife in Cuero Municpal Park is protected. Hunting and trapping of park wildlife is illegal.

Littering
Littering on the park grounds is strictly prohibited and fines may be applicable. Designated containers are provided throughout the Park for trash disposal.

Trees and Plants
The cutting, destruction, or removal of vegetation, trees and deadwood without permission from the City of Cuero is prohibited.

Vehicles
All motorized and non-motorized vehicles are required to drive and park only in designated areas. Off-road driving or driving on pedestrian paths is prohibited.

Firearms
The use of firearms, air guns, slingshots, bows and arrows, and blowguns is strictly prohibited by law.

Fishing
Fishing is allowed at the Cuero Lake facility. Only pole, and rod and reel fishing are allowed; the use of nets and traps is prohibited.

Glass Containers
Glass beverage containers such as bottles, jars and drinking glasses are prohibited on the Park grounds.

Camping
Camping is allowed only in designated area of the Park. See section Self-contained RV Campsites for details on RV Camping.

Noise Restrictions
Loud music, excessive noise and disorderly conduct are prohibited on Park grounds.

Firewood Gathering
The gathering of firewood from or on Park grounds is prohibited. Firewood must be purchased or otherwise brought in from elsewhere for use in designated campfire and bar-b-que areas.

Ground Fires
Groundfires are prohibited on Park grounds except in designated bar-b-que and campsite areas.

Picnic Areas
Tables are provided throughout the Park on a first-come basis only. No use fee is required.

Group Picnic Areas
Reservations are required for the use of the group picnic areas. Contact the Cuero Golf Pro Shop for reservations and further info.

Walking Trail
The walking trail is designated for pedestrian walking only. Motorized vehicles are prohibited.

USERS FEES


Pavilion
Exclusive use of the City Pavilion must be authorized by the Cuero City Council. Please contact ??? for further information.

Rodeo Arena
To reserve the use of the Rodeo Arena, please contact the DeWitt County Livestock Show Board.

Show Barn
To reserve the use of the Show Barn, please contact the DeWitt County Livestock Show Board.

Self-contained RV Campsites
No charge, 3-day limit.

Swimming Pool
Pre-admission fee is $1.00. Rental fee is for a 2-hour minimum (during pool season). A minimum of two lifeguards must be available. (See Pool Ordinance for more detailed information.)

Volleyball Courts
No usage fee.

Soccer Fields
No usage fee.

Basketball Courts
No usage fee.

Little League Fields
No usage fee. For Little League use only.

Open-air Amphitheater
Exclusive use of the City Open-air Amphitheater must be authorized by the Cuero City Council. Please contact ??? for further information.

Clubhouse Reservation
Municipal Park Clubhouse and Daule Park Clubhouse reservations are taken in advance. All reservations aremade at the Cuero Municpal Golf Pro Shop with 50% of payment due upon reservation and the remainder due before picking up the Clubhouse key. Contact the Pro Shop for further information.

Basketball Pavillion
Exclusive use of the City Basketball Pavilion for special functions is with the approval of the Cuero City Council only. Please contact ??? for further information.

Waived Fees
The waving of fees is by Cuero City Council approval only. Please contact ??? for further information.

Refund Policies

1. Refunds are issued by check from the City. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.     
2. Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours in advance in order for a full refund.

3. No refund will be issued due to a no-show.

4. Swimming Pool reservations will receive a full refund if a cancellation is made due to bad weather.
