Grounds Maintenance

The Grounds Maintenance Department is
responsible for maintaining all City property other than the Golf
Course and parks. The Grounds Maintenance Department also works with
the Street Department in preparing for City special events.
Some of the key functions are as follows:
- Maintaining of Hillside Cemetery
- Mowing of all City Water Wells
- Maintaining of Cuero Municipal Airport
- Mowing of all City Sewer Lift Stations
- Mowing of Chamber of Commerce
- Mowing of Old Braden Field at 766
- Mowing of all City Water Wells
- Maintaining of City Hall & Administration
- Library Landscaping
- City Brush Pickups
- Overgrown Lot Cleaning
- Retention Ponds Upkeep
The Grounds Maintenance Department is located at 1101 East Courthouse.
Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday,
excluding holidays. Staff may be contacted by calling (361) 275-6114, or
