ELECTRIC RATE - SCHEDULE HUC
(High Use Customer)

Applicable:

For designated "High Use Customers" (HUC) that have an annual system peak of 200 kW or greater. All "High Use Customers" eligible for this service have been previously identified, accepted and approved by the City's wholesale supplier as "High Use Customers".


Character of Service:

 

A.C., 60 cycles per second, single phase, 120/240 volts; three-phase, 120/240, 120/208, 240/480, 2400/4160, 7200/12,470 volts, as available at point of service. Three-phase customers served via underground primary to pad-mounted transformers are offered only 120/208 or 277/480 volt service.


Rate:

All High Use Customers as defined above, will be charged a rate that includes wholesale power cost as determined by the City's wholesale provider applicable to these the High Use Customer accounts plus an added charge which shall be developed for each High Use Customer in order to retain the same revenues as currently provided to the City, as if the customer continued under their current rate schedule classification. In offering this rate shedule, the City shall remain revenue neutral.


Minimum Monthly Charge:

 

Minimum monthly charge under shall be the wholesale power cost plus $100.00.


Power Cost Adjustment:

 

No power cost adjustment shall be applicable under this rate.


Tax Adjustment:

 

The above rate schedule shall be subject to an increase or decrease in proportion to the amount of new taxes or increased taxes which the City may hereafter have to pay which are levied or imposed or increased or decreased by law or ordinances which were not in effect on the effective date of this schedule.
