Cuero Program
"Get your kids hooked on this!"
The Cuero Police Department works with
local schools, parents and students to provide Drug
Abuse Resistance Education to youth from
grades 5-12. The curriculum consists of an 8-week program both in the
fall and the spring semesters to provide students with the knowledge
and tools to resist pressure to use drugs and alcohol from a variety
of sources in our culture. Class activities include role-playing
sessions during which students familiarize themselves with the
specific techniques covered by their D.A.R.E. Program Officer
for saying "NO" to drugs and underage drinking.
